  Annemarie Derrick
Aromatherapy Massage, Face Lift Massage, Indian Head Massage, Back Neck and Shoulder Massage and Ayurvedic Facials.

Annemarie trained in Aromatherapy with Chinese Medical Diagnosis and Therapeutic Massage at the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy in London. She is a qualified Holistic Aromatherapist and a member of IFPA. She also trained at the London College of Indian Champissage International, qualifying in Face Lift Massage and Indian Head Massage. She has also studied Ayurvedic Massage and is currently studying Ayurvedic Medicine.

 
  Catherine Attfield
Nutritional Therapy

Catherine trained at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition (ION), founded in 1984 by nutrition expert Patrick Holford, where the study of nutrition centres on finding the optimum nutrition requirements for the individual. Catherine is a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT), the main professional body for nutritional therapists in the UK.

Kinesiology

Gill is a registered practitioner of The Association of Systematic Kinesiology. She is committed to the principle of preventative healthcare and works extensively with adults and children, encouraging them to make simple and subtle changes to their physical, nutritional, emotional and environmental lifestyles to maximise good health and happiness.

  Ian Martin
Cognitive Behavioural Pscyotherapy and Hypnotherapy

Ian has a diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT) and is studying for his MSc in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. He has diplomas in Clinical Hypnosis and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and is currently teaching for the London College of Clinical Hypnosis. He has spent four years working on placement in the Therapy Department at the Priory Hospital.


Jana Fielding
Craniosacral Therapy, Esalen Massage, Coaching

Jana is a body/mind therapist who brings a psychological and physical approach to health and selfdiscovery. Jana has qualified in Craniosacral Therapy (ICSS) and has studied Person Centred Counselling (Metanoia Institute) and Bodywork (Esalen Institute, California). She is a qualified and accredited Executive and Life Coach (Coaching Development UK). She created and led a successful enterprise in the community and healthcare sector from 1985 to 2000 and began therapeutic practice in 1995.


Janet Goodman
Holistic Psychotherapy

Dr. Janet Goodman holds a B.A. Hons. and Ph.D. in Psychology from University College, London. She is a British Psychological Society Chartered Psychologist, practicing since 1995. She has also studied Integrative Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute, London and has practiced with individuals and groups in London and Paris. She was awarded a King's Fund Millennium award to run infertility groups in 2003 and has a particular interest in community work.


Juliet Page
Reception

Juliet comes to Oliver’s from a background in journalism, publishing and bookselling. She trained as a journalist in London and worked as a reporter on a local paper before moving to publishing. After a long career as a publishers’ copywriter and reader she became a bookseller, working both for Waterstone’s as academic department manager and events organiser and for several independent bookshops. It was while working at the Kew Bookshop that she became a regular customer of Oliver’s and then a member of the team at the Therapy Rooms.


Julie Thompson
Osteopathy

Julie holds a degree in Osteopathy from the British School of
Osteopathy, one of the UK’s leading institutions. She is particularly interested in craniosacral therapy and is currently undertaking postgraduate training with the Sutherland Cranial College to further develop her skills. She has a strong background in science having been awarded a Ph.D. in 1982. Julie’s approach is grounded in her knowledge of anatomy and physiology, but at the same time she recognises the importance of intuition. She teaches for the College of Osteopaths and Boston University (London Branch).


Kari Tveite
Reflexology

After many years running her own design business, Kari’s long-standing interest in complementary therapies led her to a career as a reflexologist. Kari trained with the Association of Reflexologists. She is a qualified Therapeutic Massage therapist and has also worked at a physiotherapy sports injury clinic and within an osteopathic practice.


Mary Miller
Oliver's Therapy Rooms Manager and Teacher of Homeopathy 'Crash Courses'

Mary has her BSc degree in Homeopathy and Health Sciences and qualified in 2001. Since then she has been practising homeopathy from clinics in Richmond and Kew. Mary has been teaching short homeopathy courses since 2001 which have been a real hit amongst young mum's and adults who want to treat themselves and their families naturally.
  Poppy Altmann
Homeopathy

Poppy Altmann is a Licentiate of the College of Practical Homeopathy and is registered with the Society of Homeopaths. She set up the Vital student homeopathy clinic in Richmond and is a founder member of the South West London Homeopaths.


Katarina Gadjanski
Counselling

Katarina Gadjanski BSc (Hons) LCCH RSHom has been working in the therapeutic field for over a decade. Her primary training was as a homeopath but she soon started integrating counselling into her work as she realised that many diseases originate from a mental or emotional imbalance. She has years of clinical experience working with people suffering from depression, anxiety attacks, mood disorders and more.

Katarina is currently a trainee counsellor and her work is heavily influenced by Transpersonal Psychotherapy and the Person-Centred Approach. Currently she is training at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education, specialising in Transpersonal Psychotherapy and is offering low cost counselling sessions as part of her further training. Katarina also has a busy homeopathic clinic.


Sue Over
Myofascial Release Therapy, Therapeutic Massage

Sue is a certified Rolfer and Rolf Movement Practitioner. In 1990 she qualified as an ITEC Therapeutic Massage Therapist. She went on to train in Shiatsu and Japanese Seated Massage and by combining elements of her two disciplines she has developed an effective, high quality massage treatment. Her approach enables her to treat clients whose needs range from those requiring a deep relaxing massage to those who need help with specific long-term conditions.

                                      
Val Hart
Therapeutic Massage

Valerie qualified as an ITEC Holistic Massage Therapist in 2001 and has subsequently attended postgraduate workshops to develop effective therapeutic techniques for a wide range of massage clients. She is also a volunteer at the Mulberry Centre which offers treatments for those affected by cancer and who require a more gentle treatment. Valerie has additional ITEC Diplomas in Reflexology and Indian Head Massage and has qualifications in Hot Stone Massage, Organic Skin Facials and Reiki healing.

Vicki Haines
Baby Massage

Originally trained in Australia , Vicki has been working as a Massage therapist in London and abroad for the last 15 years and teaching massage for 4 years. She is involved in many community based projects, teaching relaxation and massage skills to young people and the elderly.
Having completed the intensive training as an infant massage instructor at St. Thomas’s Hospital, London, Vicki is a member of the International Association of Infant massage.
Vicki also works with teenage mothers in a community setting, supporting them in bonding and developing tools to care for their babies. She takes a holistic approach to life and feels continuously inspired working with people of all ages.
