with Natalie Savona Tuesday 10 February 2009, 7.30pm
In this excellent talk Natalie Savona will suggest that we should just keep coming back to what she calls ‘Wonderfoods’, which are the wonderful foods nature abundantly provides. Pretty much all foods in their natural state qualify as wonderfoods. But are we being tempted by the so-called superfoods, the media hype and latest fads at the expense of getting the basics right?
Natalie is a writer and TV presenter who was born and raised in the middle east, is half Maltese and has travelled the world enjoying eating good, or at least interesting food. She believes that our food choices are not just about fuelling ourselves but reflect our psychological and cultural influences.
Her practicality and a love of eating have made Natalie one of Britain’s most popular food experts. She is the author of six books, including Wonderfoods, Wonderfoods for Kids and The Kitchen Shrink; she regularly features as an expert in the national press, on radio and television and has presented three tv series.
